I used this app for about a year, and in the last six months all but one of the stations I saved became unavailable. The station I can still use constantly cuts out, and this has only become worse over time. I also don't like that my device has to be connected to the internet for it to work, but this appears to be the case for other radio apps. I have finally reached the point where the annoyance it is causing outweighs the convenience it offers. I'd rather use a regular radio or do without.

Can you guys please make the X bigger to push, so its easier to exit out of those ads. I listen to this app allot, but those Guardio ads comes with 2 ads, you need to exit the first one, and then the second. The problem is, the X is small, so you're clicking on the ad instead of exiting. It happens multiple times on the first ad before I get to the second ad, then its repeat! Please make the X bigger to push, please and thank you.

Cutting out issues are now worse. Any app that breaks in, alarm, phone call, maps etc. the app stops and spins. Started New Years eve right after midnight. We fixed this last year, now its back. Pain in the buttocks when driving. Still don't like the way the adds are closed. Too dangerious for kids driving. A distraction they don't need. I will let parents know. Should not have exit moving everywhere on the advertising screen. Doesn't play nice with other apps, like maps.

Works fine. But when the volume is lowered for an incoming notification, email, text, etc), the volume on the Simple Radio stream is not restored and I have to manually reset the volume so I can hear what I was listening to. I will be uninstalling since I don't want to adjust volume everytime I get a notification.

Edit: The free version is lousy. I finally decided to pay for it. It's fine now. No frills, which is what I want, but also no problems. Still wish the free version worked better. Edit: Now it has audio ads that play over the station I'm trying to listen to. That's really inexcusable. You can run ads, but don't interfere with my user experience. It's a decent radio app, but the video ad overlays are really obstructive.

I've used this app for a 2 years now and here's what I've figured out. 1. Connections drop no matter where you are. 2. It runs in the background even when the app is closed. This is my biggest problem with the app. It stays open in the background even after closing it. It takes up battery life and data. You have to go into your phone settings everytime after using the app to Force it to stop. 3. There are usually 2 adds before you start up a station. No big. Except when u lose connection.4/10

I generally enjoy this app, but as of late, it has been shutting down for whatever reason. Each time it does that, I lose my favorite stations that I've set, so I have to go through the process of locating my stations each time! It's annoying! Yes, I do check the app for possible updates in Google Play (most recent one was on 12/22/2023), but I should not have to go through this hassle of this app shutting down and looking for my favorites each time!!!!

Hi, I have this app installed on my Android phone and love this app however, for the life of me, I can't locate it on Android Shield to install it on my TV. All other radio apps are there when I search in playstore on tv, except this app. So currently I have to cast from my phone to tv which is not what I want to do. My sound system is connected to my tv for great sound. Any ideas or advice how I can download it( and fnd it first) on Android Shield??

Great sound quality, great selection. So many radio stations across the world of all genres. I highly recommend this app!! And a special recognition for The Elvis Radio Show UK! You play versions of Elvis's catalog I have never heard. Great Job!!

I have an old Samsung S3 which I am turning into an FM Tuner, since airwave FM reception where I live is a problem. I tried several apps including Tune-In which is a great example of a good product morphed into Major Bloatware. Another purportedly simple app is also bloated and impossible to navigate. Too much stuff which makes it impossible to so simple straight forward find a station, make it a favorite, and play it! This is what Simple Radio excels at. We software developers have a guide for good software: KISS Keep It Simple Sam. Excellent app. 10 stars. I got rid of the ads also. One question: is there a way to transfer a station list to another phone?
