This is my 11th year with Verizon. It has gotten better over time. You just gotta find what plan you're willing to pay for. Devices everywhere are not cheap. I've been pleased with Verizon's services, speeds, reliability, and even the app for many years (over 10.) TIL that Verizon is increasing my bill $10/ month to improve their service. I realize $10 is a paltry sum, it's the principle that bothers me. We have to pay for infrastructure improvements and expansion of your towers, etc, while Verizon gets all the tax write-offs etc and improves their corporate valuations? Ultimately, it's the customers who always pay the bills-until they don't.
Doesn't always work, has terrible navigation and menus, makes checking bills a hassle, requires too many logins, and can't screenshot my own info after login and on one of the devices on the plan. Overall, it's a frustrating app, like their customer support (local store are not all bad, but can't help with most services), and if there were any other providers with similar plans, I would drop Verizon as a whole.
Edit: Years later- not bad, easier to navigate, and they make it easy to pay them without feeling like the Sword of Damocles is hanging over your head, which is great rn Not very New-user friendly. They couldn't leave well enough alone. YAY! Now it has advertisements that clutter an already mixed up screen, hooray! The older version was better, but not by much. Both are/were put together rather haphazardly, and require a bit of snooping around before you can effectively navigate the app.
One of the worst app I have ever used in my life. I usually don't leave reviews for an app but this app is just horrendous. UX/UI is done fine but who cares about the interface when the app crashes all the time and requires you to sign in 100000 times just to have a quick conversation with an agent and it suddenly disconnect. Not only that, it takes you ages to get reconnected to a previous message.
