This app has its ups and downs it's great for people like my parents when they get new phones to transfer over all their information but there's a lot of hiccups as far as storing things accessing I've had a lot of my content erased. If it wasn't free I wouldn't use it. Could be a good app if you gave more user control and more options.
Since I upgraded to my new S22 Ultra, the app won't back up my data bc is says it needs permissions. The ONE button not turned on is grayed out and I have tried everything in my power to fix it to no avail -- even though it indicates all permissions allowed. When I spend this much $$$ on a phone, I expect EVERYTHING to work properly. Do better, Verizon!
I have piece of mind that my photos are backed up. The Verizon Cloud app performs remarkably well in capturing photos from my Android, but good luck getting 45,000 photos out again. After numerous calls to Verizon's technical support line, I understand that there is a problem with the app when accessing through the Web. I can't cancel my Verizon phone plan because I'll lose my photos, and I cannot access my tens of thousands of photos except by phone. Beware of offers for more storage.
Clearly, this exists because society and life require it. It's a static application. Make changes to your contact information? The VZW cloud adds it, so you can have multiple addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses where only one of each is accurate. When you go to messages, contacts, etc. in this app, you're sent to the phone's application. The cloud is internet, not equipment. This PSA has been brought to you by someone soon to go to AT&T.
This app is surprising... I thought I had deleted some very important photos, but to my happy surprise, cloud had stored them for me.. Thank you cloud for having my back.. I would love to give you 100 starts.. 👍🏼😁😁😉
I am not crazy about Verizon's plan or phone prices, but Verizon Cloud is a wonderful app. They have saved me many headaches of finding all of my contacts, pictures, and documents through the years. I have switched phones, phone numbers, carriers and i have always gone back to Verizon Cloud for finding lost contacts. Very reliable and dependable. 5 stars Also stocked with many usefool/helpful tools!
