Smashing Four: PvP Hero Bump is a very popular adventure mobile game. The game style is exquisite and detailed, and the gameplay is very unique. In the game, you have to control your own villain to fight in the scene with your companions, and work together to win.

You'd think your skill and hero choice are the main factors determining whether you win or lose, but it seems to me there is something built in to the game that prevents you from progressing too quickly. You will be doing well and then suddenly the game physics change to put you on a huge losing streak, irrespective of heroes, opponent ability or challenge. You can tell from the first couple of rounds that you are supposed to lose the battle. When it's fair, it's fun. Otherwise it's unplayable.
It can be rather fun. Thr characters are interesting and the ideas of powers are fascinating. However, the matching system is aweful. Level 4 characters against level 8. Come on? Pay to win is very obvious. The other thing is the powers are horribly unbalanced. A character can bounce 3 to 4 markers and create a void that kills everything inside in one shot. A character can tag 3 times and deal up to 300 points of damage to them? Loosing 5 games in a row to first move go's. Dulls the game quickly
I enjoy the game, but serious issues prevent a higher rating. It constantly freezes, causing me to lose matches in challenges that I PAID to enter. Cool-downs on quests and opening orbs is ridiculous. Once complete, there's no benefit to playing the game for hours. I imagine this is to slow progress and frustrate players into making purchases. Matchmaking is lazily based on trophies, when it should be based on a wide array of factors. Great potential, but some poor execution holds it back.
Pretty fun little game that will kill time while you destroy the enemy troops ;-) *EDIT* This is my "I have been playing for a while" post review time. This game is still a blast and I still play and recommend. You can play it as free to play however it might seem a little grindy. With a little cash though it isn't bad at all but joining an active clan helps but just remember to not offer up your main lineup of troops to you clan lol. Also don't level up all your troops just what you need. ENJOY
