Found this to be useless in far too many circumstances and as others have noted it doesn't integrate with the normal google assistant. I haven't yet found a non-google app that the gesture commands work with properly, for example in the kindle app scroll down works on the settings page but not to scroll down in a book. Needs a lot of work.
You make a very good app, i like it, but i want you make some changes , it works only in English, i want you make it as evey language supportive. And add more commands , like pause music , stop music, scrolling speed , it should hear our voice about 10 foot distance., And it can work in like our employee. Add some commands like , please play my music, next song , thanks, please update it , then it will be a very usefull app for every one.
Broke the Google assistant. When listening to videos of spoken word, it transcribes everything. In other words, it does not distinguish one voice or strip listening in that situation. The worst part is my Google assistant no longer recognizes my voice. I have rebooted phone, retrained my voice with the asistant. Nothing, the assistant is dead and voice access sucks. Good idea, terrible implementation.
Would be a great app but there's so many things I cant do.I would depend on this app to do things when I'm physically incapable of using my phone or in emergencies,I've been failed by this app because it's telling me I don't have the specific Android version to do certain actions, when my phone is updated. And it tells me that can't do simple actions like tapping or selecting something on my screen. Also when I'm dictating on certain apps the cursor moves randomly and it's impossible!
The app is very good and quite intuitive. The only thing that should be better is the integration with Google Voice to Type. Adding a coma to a sentence is way easier using Google Voice to Type then using Google Voice access, and overall voice recognition feels more crisp. Apart from that, the app is amazing end is very useful even for those who do you not have any impairment. I went from my homescreen to writing this full review only using the app. Very good job, Google.
It is good when it works, especially the show numbers feature. I just wish the app wouldn't stop working randomly Most of the time, meaning I wish it would function like a normal app. It would also be nice if it could intuitively Pick up name spellings From previous text and emails versus having to correct every time. Otherwise, it's a great app. Just needs the ability to continuously learn and not crash . When it does work it saves my wrist from overuse as I have chronic rest tendonitis
